Our own innovation neighbourhood

Sandberg Valley

Since the 1980s, Sandberg Development has had its roots in Jägersro, Malmö. Through growth, property acquisitions, and investments in newly built properties, continuous development is taking place, and today, an innovation neighbourhood has formed. Several of the Group's subsidiaries, a corporate restaurant, and meeting facilities are located here. Now, we are expanding again.

In Sandberg Valley, we are strengthening opportunities for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation while offering an exciting and stimulating workplace.

Including the property Plansvarven’s new building, Sandberg Valley spans over 26,000 square meters, and the grand opening is scheduled for early January 2025. Sandberg Development will be co-located with its subsidiaries Aimpoint R&D, GAIM, RESCUE Intellitech, and SWATAB at Jägershillgatan 26.

The materials and interior design are inspired by the forest and mountains, featuring oak portals, integrated ambient lighting, and large glass panels. Jägershillgatan 26 will serve as the workplace for approximately 170 employees and, in addition to offices and meeting spaces, it will include gym, demo rooms for GAIM, RESCUE Intellitech, and SWATAB, as well as cleanrooms for Aimpoint. The roof is covered with solar panels that will generate 500 kWp. The new building has been designed by architect Johan Sandberg.

Continues to invest in Jägersro in Malmö

The investment in the new facility marks a milestone for Sandberg Development. The company has been based in Jägersro since the 1980s, and the new building reinforces the belief in Malmö as a hub for innovation and growth.

“We are building for the future and for growth. We are now bringing all our core businesses back together in the same neighbourhood to ensure knowledge sharing and to safeguard our unique corporate culture in an exciting and dynamic environment,” says Stefan Persson, CEO and Group President of Sandberg Development.
